While this is a bit OT, Arlington Foodie and and her Significant Other (as he likes to be called) are signed up to run a 10 (yes I said ten) mile run at the beginning of October. Running for me is a way to insure I don’t end up looking like a fat cow while eating all the goodies listed elsewhere on this page but I can insure you I don’t eat enough to warrant a TEN mile run!!! But never the less off we go!I found a great article in a running magazine tonight (compliments of the Arlington Public Library and Jason’s keen selecting) that outlines on a day by day basis what we needed to be doing to get our behinds off the couch and to the finish line. The plan is for 10 weeks and we really only have nine weeks to go so we’ll have to be quite dedicated!!Other than our entire weekend of eating out next weekend in Hershey, PA I plan on trying to eat super healthy to give us every much needed advantage on our road to victory.
