Clueless Wonder

This was our first attempt at making wontons. We filled them with pork, shrimp, onion, bok choy, cilantro, soy sauce, garlic and a whole bunch of other little things. Jason was in charge of the actual frying procedure which he wasn’t excited about at first but he quickly realized it was easier to fry the little buggers than it would be to wait in the emergency room all night with me after I burn the heck out of myself!! Good choice on his part! All in all they were pretty yummy!

Yes yes, I realize that I go about changing the look of this page more than I change underwear (well, maybe not). However, I have yet to find ‘the’ one that I am looking to use as a long-term solution. So just bear with me and we’ll see what happens….

Well I just got done with my 2nd satellite cash in 3 days. Friday night I played in a $14 super on FullTilt for entry into todays’ $100 satellite into the $500 buyin, $1 million guarantee. I just won my seat in that having busted in 80-something with the top 185 in the field making it. I’m also playing in the $5k guarantee, 6-max, PLHE tournament. I’ve chipped up a bit but it’s still really early in that one. I kind of wish that I hadn’t entered though as I like to concentrate fully on a single table in the big buyin events. Plus I could use a little break. Oh well. I might as well just go ahead and go deep in them both!

So I’ll be on the lookout for other bloggers in this thing, hope to see you at the final table :)

It’s my birthday (week)! My Nana & Papa got me three great 5 1/2″ bundt pans. You make the batter for one large bundt cake and it’s just the right amount to make 3 small ones!

Of course the trip to Sur La Table to pick these up resulted in additional purchases as well! We got a hamburger press, a large serving tray and a set of icing tips that I had been looking at and had just gone on sale 50% off!
