Quick Update
I’ve thrown away more of my roll than I should have lately playing in the bigger tournaments. I’ve actually gone pretty deep lately. Went out 80 from the money in the Party 40k and 250 from the money in the party million. That one really hurt. I had played well for 3 hours and had an average stack when I decided to make a move on a guy I read as weak. Preflop I was right and should have re-re-raised him. Instead I call his re-raise and push over the top with a check-raise semi-bluff flush draw. Well he had flopped two pair with his mighty T3 and so of course calls. I miss and am done. It’s funny how that happens. It really takes great poker AND great luck to take one of these things down and it always seems to be one thing or the other.
