Not Playing Much
In fact, I’m taking a bit of a break. I had noticed that lately it just seemed as if I was going on tilt every couple of minutes or yelling at my poor computer screen when a suckout happened. Overall I just was not playing my A game. Oh sure, it was only two weeks or so ago when I won the DADI rebuy and took 3rd in the WWdN in the same week. But other than that I’ve been on a horrible slide lately. So I’m taking the rest of the month off from online play. In fact, the only poker I play on playing is August 25th and hopefully the 27th as well. That would be the upcomming mega super satellite at Borgata. I’m hoping to parlay $250 into entry into e $10k buyin events, one $15k buyin event, and $5k cash.I had posted about this tournament a few posts ago and so won’t bother you with the details. However, why is that the only poker I plan on playing this month you might be asking yourself? Well with the time off I should be mentally prepared to sit and play my game patiently and not push things too hard. I think that is very possible since I tend to overall be a much better player in live games anyway. I also like my chances to at least advance to the 2nd stage of the tournament to be held on Sunday. With 1 in 5 advancing, those are pretty good odds and the relatively low buyin means that there will be donkeys aplenty.In short, wish me luck and say hi in IRC. I still play on sweating the rest of you degenerates when you deserve it!
